Sebastien David founded Stone Art Cotswold in 2010. He originally trained as a journeyman in France for ten years, learning his skills by moving from site to site and being taught by different Masters within the Craft Guild.
Sebastien has worked on many prestigious projects in the UK and Europe including Gloucester Cathedral and several Cotswold manor houses. He specialises in listed building restoration work and hand-carved sculptural detailing.
As a child, Sebastien was always fascinated by stones and geology. His passion remains just as alive today, after 25 years’ experience working as a Stonemason. He brings his knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to every project.

Our range of skills and knowledge allows us to work on virtually any project where stone is involved. We will work closely with you from consultancy, through the design phase and creating the finished product.
Through our sister company, DS Stone Supplies, we can supply a range of imported limestones, including weathered stone to match Cotswold stone.
